Cell-Chex kontrolliert die Erythrozyten- und Leukozytenzahl, die Urat- und CPPD-Kristallidentifizierung sowie die Differenzierung der Leukozyten. Es besteht aus einer patientenähnlichen Mischung aus intakten Erythrozyten, Urat- und CPPD-Kristallen und menschlichen Leukozyten. Wenn Cell-Chex in der gleichen Weise wie eine Patientenprobe gefärbt wird, kann es zur Kontrolle der Differenzierung von Granulozyten-, Lymphozyten- und Monozytenpopulationen verwendet werden.
