Summary
Development of a highly sensitive rapid test for the on-site detection of sulfonamide antibiotics using a recently patented biosensor principle. This uses biomimetically functionalized, elastic hydrogel microparticles as probes (also known as soft colloidal probes - SCP), which are read out using optical methods.
