The AccuPlex™ H5N1 Influenza Reference Material Kit contains positive reference material formulated for use with test methods for the detection of H5N1 influenza virus. The kit contains 5 vials of positive controls containing the entire genome of the H5N1 virus (Genome A/cattle/Texas/56283/2024). Also included are 5 vials of negative reference material (clear caps) containing recombinant virus particles with sequences of the human RNase P gene (RP). This product is non-infectious and replication-deficient. The AccuPlex™ H5N1 Influenza Reference Material Kit is a full process control as it must be processed like a patient sample, including nucleic acid extraction.
