ACCURUN 342 Series 700 is formulated for use with in vitro test procedures that detect Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae nucleic acid. ACCURUN 342 Nucleic Acid Positive Control Series 100 is prepared by diluting elementary bodies derived from cultured Chlamydia trachomatis and cultured Neisseria gonorrhoeae in a buffer simulating specimen transport media. The control contains whole cell organisms simulating a naturally occurring sample. The control is “ready to use“ in assays that detect Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhea.
