Basematrix diluent is formulated for use with in vitro diagnostic test kits for the detection of HBV DNA, HCV RNA, HIV-1 RNA, Human Parvovirus B19 DNA, HAV RNA, HBsAg, anti-HIV 1/2, anti-HTLV I/II, anti-HBc, and anti-HCV. It is ideal for use as a negative diluent for titration studies. The product is manufactured from defibrinated, dialyzed human plasma that is negative for HBV DNA, HCV RNA, HIV-1 RNA, Human Parvovirus B19 DNA, and HAV RNA, and non-reactive for HBsAg and anti-HIV 1/2, anti-HCV, anti-HTLV I/II, anti-HBs, and anti-HBc.
