Cell-Chex controls for red blood cell (RBC) and white blood cell (WBC) counts, urate and CPPD crystal identification and white blood cell differentiation. It is comprised of a patient-like mix of intact RBCs, urate and CPPD crystals and human white blood cells. When stained in the same manner as a patient sample, Cell-Chex can be used to control for the differentiation of granulocyte, lymphocyte and monocyte populations.
