The GALEAS™ Tumor Kit is an NGS library preparation kit for comprehensive genomic profiling of solid tumor biopsies. The kit employs hybrid-capture enrichment to cover 519 clinically relevant genes, detecting SNVs, INDELs, CNVs, and selected fusions across common cancer types regardless of tumor origin. The GALEAS™ Tumor Kit is optimized for flexible sample input, accepting 50-200ng of genomic DNA from FFPE, fresh frozen tissue, or blood samples, and is compatible with all Illumina Sequencers. Library preparation requires approximately 10 hours total time with less than 2 hours hands-on time and supports manual or automated processing of up to 96 samples per batch. The cloud-based GALEAS analysis software accompanies the GALEAS™ Tumor Kit, providing comprehensive biomarker assessment including Tumor Mutational Burden (TMB) scoring, Microsatellite Instability (MSI) detection, and Homologous Recombination Deficiency (HRD) status evaluation.
