NEXTFLEX™ Custom Small RNA Blockers are sequence-specific oligonucleotides designed to hybridize user-selected RNA target sequences. They deplete high-abundance small RNAs, such as tRNA or Y RNA fragments and overexpressed miRNAs, thus freeing up read depth for rare, study-relevant transcripts and increasing library complexity. These blockers work at the 3' adapter-ligation step of the NEXTFLEX Small RNA-Seq Kit v4 workflow and support designs with up to 10 targets per project (25–50 nt) for any organism.
