The Papilloplex® HR-HPV mRNA kit is a single RT-PCR test designed for the screening of virus-induced oncogenic transcripts E6/E7 mRNA of 14 high-risk HPV (Human Papillomavirus) types in human cervical samples. By using GeneFirst Multiplex Probe Amplification (MPA) technology, all 14 high-risk HPV types can be detected and differentiated simultaneously in a single tube. Detectable HPV types include 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68 and analysis software is available for use with the Bio-Rad CFX96. The Papilloplex® HR-HPV mRNA kit was designed to complement the Papilloplex® HR-HPV DNA kit. It enables risk assessment for cervical cancer in HPV-positive individuals without the need for infection persistence monitoring.
