PlentiPlex™ KIT Mastocytosis qPCR Assay is a real-time PCR assay intended for the semi-quantitative detection the genomic change giving rise to the aspartic acid to valine mutation in codon 816 of the human KIT proto-oncogene receptor tyrosine kinase (KIT D816V). The samples are genomic DNA (gDNA) purified from blood samples. PentaBase’s PCR products and services are based on their proprietary Intercalating Nucleic Acid (INA®) technology.
