Seraseq® Antepartum 22q11 Male cfDNA is a reference material for non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) of the 22q11 fetal microdeletion in pregnant patients via cell-free DNA (cfDNA) analysis. This product is derived from a naturally-occurring mixture of maternal and fetal circulating cell-free DNA in a pregnant donor’s prenatal blood sample whose male fetus has been diagnosed with a 22q11 microdeletion (DiGeorge Syndrome). The native cfDNA characteristics such as size profile of ~170 bp, SNP content and natural maternal-fetal size difference are preserved. This product is designed for use in NGS, PCR or microarray-based NIPT assays in steps that follow cfDNA isolation; and no further purification or DNA isolation is needed.
