The XCeloSeq Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Fusion Kit contains a pool of RNA target enrichment primers located in conserved fusion partners to identify both known and unknown fusions from RNA. These primers are intended for use with the XCeloSeq Targeted RNA Core Reagents (GF031) only. The target enrichment method is a cost-effective and efficient way to capture specific regions after library preparation for NGS analysis. Compared to whole-genome sequencing (WGS), it has numerous advantages, including increased sequence depth. This depth and sensitivity make target enrichment particularly useful for variant calling in cancer research, identification of disease-associated mutations, single nucleotide variants (SNPs), single gene disorders and gene expression studies.
