The XCeloSeq cfDNA Library Prep Kit is designed for the preparation of whole genome multiplex NGS libraries. This XCeloSeq product is based on a strong technical foundation, Adaptor Template Oligo mediated sequencing - ATOM-Seq® ATOM-Seq is a patented technology that utilizes a unique, advanced capture chemistry designed for compatibility with whole genome capture of nucleic acid fragments to produce a sequencing-ready NGS library. The chemistry underlying ATOM-Seq is specifically designed to capture nucleic acid molecules from highly fragmented, single- and double-stranded templates with very little input, or to capture highly damaged templates in a highly efficient process. This process is ideal for cell-free DNA and FFPE samples. ATOM-Seq's chemistry provides an advanced and superior method for capturing and enriching genetic sequences, not only from highly fragmented, but also from single-stranded nucleic acid templates and from extremely low amounts of starting material. ATOM-Seq is completely ligation-independent and can therefore avoid inefficiencies associated with ligation capture methods and ligation amplicon methods and also has advantages over them.
